Xavier Cima is the Founder & CEO of Year One Partners, the senior strategic advisory firm he founded in April 2022. The firm advises boards, founders and executive teams when Spain or Europe is on the agenda.
Earlier in his career, he led public and corporate affairs at Kreab Spain and was Co-founder & CEO of the consultancy Diplolicy (2015–2018). He served as a Member of the Parliament of Catalonia from 2013 to 2015.
He is a Marshall Memorial Fellow of the German Marshall Fund of the United States (2019) and the author of Lobbying in the Real World (2023). He holds a degree in Business Administration from the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC) and completed the online programme Managing in the Global Digital Economy at The Wharton School (Wharton Online, 2022). He works in Spanish, Catalan and English.
Xavier works between Madrid and New York.
